What's Happening:--- Tuesday 29th of July 2008 ---Hey this is Aaron Palma Newman. I am here in Mexico having a blast!! Today is our last day in Mexico. Our day was very interesting could i say to the least. I didn't want to say goodbye to all my new mexican amigos. We got to basically have a fun day today. We started off going to a very different water park. It didn't have the clearest water, and it was dusty like everything else around here. Now back to Jesus... He has been doing great things here in Mexico (hopefully a little through me) and its been extraordinaryyyyyyy.. No but seriously, Its been very life changing and I have learned a lot. Not only from God but the people God has put around me and even the Americans. I have picked up a little bit of spanish and met Steve Cherrico's twin. This past week has really opened my eyes to how good I really have it. I have learned a lot from these people that we call Mexicans. I can definitely say that I have grown in my walk with God. I have learned so much and enjoyed every minute of it. I love you all and will see you in a few hours. Oh yeah and Alex says Hello and God bless (Alex is Steve Cherrico's twin, see facebook). Good riddins.
--- Tuesday 29th of July 2008 ---Hi everyone! This is Lauren Thomas. This missions trip has been amazing and truly a blessing. I have met some of the most amazing people in my point of view. God has showed up and opened my eyes to a whole new world outside of my little box. I'm so glad that I was blessed to come. It's hard to say goodbye tonight to the people and Mexico, but we've done our job. I feel truly changed by this experienced and transformed. Thanks for all your prayers and God bless,
L.T.
--- Monday 28th of July 2008 ---Hi Everyone!
It is Lauren again. We were worked a while today on the property. We painted the entire church building. It took us till about 5 p.m. Then, tonight we just sat around and played games! It was a good time to relax. Tomorrow, we get a day off and we are going to a water park and then to the market. They are having a going away party for us with their youth group! It should be a great time! We come home in two days! Keep us in your prayers!!
