The Hooks have just completed their first year in the new MAF Headquarters in Idaho. See our pictures ! We also have the guest house - His Place - in full operation with 11 mission candidates staying with us while they complete their training to be Missionary pilots. John has been very busy traveling to the Christian colleges recruitng new pilots and just returned from the largest Airshow in the US at Oshkosh. John has been inducted into the EAA Air Museum on the 2nd floor at the Timeless Voices of Aviation display where you can see a video of him for 30 min talking about Missionary Aviation. Looking forward to seeing all of you at Conference this year 2008 !! John and Nancy

The Hooks are back home till the first of the year. We are working on our home and making it ready for sale. On June 1, 2007 our family will be moving to MAF Headquarters in Idaho. Pray with us as we look for our new home (His Guest House) in Nampa, Idaho. We will be together as a family for Christmas this year as we will spend 3 weeks at MAF during Christmas.

History:
The Hooks joined MAF in 1975 and spent the next 20 years on the islands of Indonesia. Our ministry is to provide transportation and communication to Missionaries reaching trible people in the most remote places on earth. The last 10 years, I have been training Missionary Pilots and flying 3 times a year in the country of Afghanistan.

Active Prayer Requests:
- Pray for continued funds to keep His Place Guest house in operation. Pray for new families to come into MAF as the needs for aviation and communication are increasing around the world. (Tuesday 19th of August 2008)

- The Hooks are moving to MAF Headquarters in Idaho. Pray with us as we pack and a buyer for our home here in California. Also pray for a home we can use as a Missionay Guest House in Idaho. (Monday 21st of May 2007)
